The file cabinet model does not work
Most manufacturers approach audit evidence by maintaining a parallel system: a folder structure, a shared drive or a document archive where records are filed for later retrieval. The problem with this model is that it creates two copies of every record: the operational record and the filed evidence copy. Those two copies diverge over time. The filed copy is often a PDF export of whatever the system showed at export time, with no live link back to the source. When the auditor asks a follow-up question, the filed evidence cannot answer it. Someone has to go back to the source system anyway, which raises the question of why the parallel filing existed at all.
The proof answer model
VoraAudit works differently. Instead of maintaining a parallel evidence archive, it uses the source records that VoraSuite creates as the foundation for proof answers. A proof answer is a structured response to an auditor question, built from actual records: the job card, the capture result, the control plan revision, the PM event, the Resolve outcome. The evidence is the record. There is no separate filing step to maintain a second copy that slowly diverges from the truth.

When an audit needs a formal response, VoraAudit works from the same source records rather than a filing exercise. The Audit Reporter starts from an auditor question, such as the service history for a specific tool or the out-of-spec response for a part, scopes the read to the records that answer it, and presents them ready to review on screen or print. Each record traces back to the job card, capture result, control plan revision or Resolve outcome it came from. Nothing is copied into a second archive that can drift from the truth. The report is a filtered view of records that already existed in VoraSuite as a by-product of normal operating work.
