VoraCore overview
What VoraCore is, what lives on the VoraCore home page, and how the shared foundation feeds VoraControl, VoraTool and VoraAudit.
VoraCore is the governed foundation in every VoraSuite package: master data, access, sites and the record trail. It holds the shared records that VoraControl, VoraTool and VoraAudit build on, so each record is maintained once and reused everywhere. You open it from the sidebar at /core.
What the VoraCore home page shows
The Core Data and Configuration page gives you a live picture of the shared foundation. Master data at a glance shows current counts of customers, parts, part revisions and files for the active company and site. Recent core changes lists the latest customer, part, revision and file changes, each with who made the change and when.
What VoraCore owns
- Master data: customers, parts and revisions, work centres, operations and locations, maintained at /core/master-data.
- Access: users, product access and permissions, managed from the My Account area at /access/users.
- Company and site context: the company profile, the sites your data is scoped to, and the site switcher in the topbar.
- Notifications: the in-app notification drawer and the per-user preferences at /access/notifications.
- The record trail: changes to governed records are logged with the actor and time, which is what VoraAudit draws on for proof.
How the products build on it
VoraControl builds control plans against the parts, revisions and operations that VoraCore maintains. VoraTool links tooling and job cards to the same parts and operations. VoraAudit answers auditor questions from the records both products create. Because everything shares one foundation, a part number means the same thing in every module.
Where to go next
Open Master Data to maintain shared records, or Reports for the revision history report. Access, licensing, subscription and notification settings live under My Account. Each area has its own guide in this help centre.
