VoraTool overview
What VoraTool covers: the tooling register, job cards, preventive maintenance, the Planning Board, critical spares and reports, and how the records connect into tooling history.
VoraTool is the VoraSuite toolroom product: toolroom management, tooling, maintenance, repairs and spares, with the history to prove it. It lives under /tool in the signed-in cockpit, and its home page shows what needs attention across your tooling before you open any register.
What VoraTool covers
- Tooling: the register of production tooling and fixtures, each tool linked to the operation it serves
- Job Cards: breakdown and repair work from request through tryout and release
- Preventive Maintenance: plans, scheduled jobs and the reusable task library
- Planning Board: open toolroom work laid out by person and day
- Spares: bought-out and manufactured spares with stock levels and movements
- Reports: repeat breakdowns, spares risk, PM compliance and customer assets
The VoraTool home page
The home page at /tool opens with a needs-attention panel where overdue maintenance, overdue job cards, low critical spares and tooling-down alerts appear automatically. Below it sit live metrics, the top spares risk signals and the tooling with repeated breakdown signals. Use the Open Tooling and Open Planning Board actions to act on what you see.
How the records connect
Every record points back at the tooling. A job card is raised for a tool, a scheduled maintenance job is generated for a tool, and a stock movement can be linked to the tooling the spare is fitted to. The service story of a tool is therefore built from the work itself, timestamped and attributed as it happens, and VoraAudit can answer the full tooling history question from those same records when an auditor asks.
Where to start
Set up your tooling register first, since job cards, maintenance plans and spares all hang off tooling records. Then raise job cards for repair work as it arrives, build preventive maintenance plans for the tooling that needs them, and load your critical spares with minimum levels.
VoraTool is focused on production tooling and the toolroom. It is not a general facility maintenance system, and the Planning Board plans toolroom work, not production.
